Over two years at Real Branding, I art directed multiple interactive experiences for Red Lobster, including a fully animated home page with steam rising from fresh lobster and the Chef's Kitchen portrayed below which gave users a deeper look into food preparation as well as caloric information.
For the Chef's Kitchen, I set up and directed the photo shoot as well as creating the final digital assets from the output. Working with an experienced flash developer, we were able to bring this kitchen to life with information and a deeper look at your seafood and the men and women who create such mouth-watering marvels.
The application included a Smart Meal Calculator, allowing users to pre-plan their meal and understand the nutritional information ahead of time as well as recipes directly from the master chef's to make at home.
Below is a screenshot of the flash animated home page I designed and directed which included crackling sound effects, fire, and hot steam rising from the grilling lobster. My mouth still waters every time I think about the project.
